"Average stay, not as good as expected"
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, in which we experienced a relatively comfortable and clean room and mostly friendly staff. However, firstly, upon arrival we discovered our safe did not work and tried to explain this to the receptionist, who did not seem interested at all and told us to try again. After we went back down to report it again, he then came up and took a look at it, only to discover that it was indeed broken and did not offer us a replacement so we had no safe place to keep our valuables. It wasn't until 2 days later that a member of staff came up to fix it, which was pointless as we were leaving the next morning. Secondly, the bathroom door did not shut and had to be locked in order to keep it shut, but the lock did not work either and I actually got locked in the bathroom as it was stuck and this did not get fixed either. Thirdly, there seemed to be construction undergoing outside our room, which meant we were woken by loud work men at as early as 3am, who were also very nosey and we had to keep the curtains closed continuously as they were within inches of our window. Overall we found our room pleasant besides the broken bathroom door, broken safe and nosey work men, and most staff polite and friendly apart from a couple who seemed very uninterested in our complaints.

"Nice hotel"
Hotel was close to the areas we wanted to be near. Really clean and a good base for the weekend. Room was smallish but we expected that. Friendly staff and would definitely book again if I'm ever back in Amsterdam

"Grate Location - Small rooms"
The Hotel has a great location - the small rooms are also nice and comfortable, bathroom is too small. It would be nice if you can check that the room is on basement. Breakfast was great, personal really nice!

"Spring Break"
My daughter and I had a very pleasant and comfortable break in this hotel. The location was super for getting about and seeing places of interest with a tram stop nearby. Thanks to one previous reviewer who gave instructions as to how to get to the hotel our journey was simple. Breakfast was not part of our deal, but we decided to have breakfast in the hotel and found there was a really good selection of items to have although cost of 15 euro was I thought a little high and it was not published in the hotel information, but the fact that we could also take a piece of fruit away for later was really appreciated. The room was clean and there were toiletries to use, the beds were comfortable and we both slept well. The free tea/coffee at the entrance was also welcome when coming in from a long day of sightseeing as was the tea/coffee making facility in the bedroom for the morning, along with the little touch of chocolate of biscuit left each day. There were reviews that I read that made note of some the rooms being on the small side, but we opted to book a superior room, which was spacious. If I travel to Amsterdam again in the future, I would certainly book this hotel.
